Learning Intentions

Students in grade 1 - 4 have been learning a variety of new skills over the past few weeks. At the beginning of each class, we discuss what our learning intention or goal for the class is. Beginning this week, we created "I can" statements together to help students understand the purpose for what they were learning in connection to the curriculum as well as ways to begin assessing their learning. As we continue to build on these skills together, we will start to use the 4 point scale for assessing our learning and achievement in music.
